How animal spawns work

Dots mark spawn points, but the game groups nearby points into packs (any two points within ~16 metres). The first animal of a pack rolls the table to pick a species, and that species is locked in for the pack — every later respawn in that area uses the same animal type.

Animals roam freely after spawning, so you may meet them far from the marker. A pack only respawns once all of its members are dead and Animals.Respawn_Time has passed since the last death, and the global wildlife cap still applies.

The Drop Chance column is the pool-relative weight when a pack first picks its species. A 100% entry means this species is alone in the pool — it will always be chosen for any pack that uses that table.
